Salvatore Ferragamo and W Host Cocktails for a Cause

Thursday evening, Salvatore Ferragamo and W magazine hosted a private cocktail party to benefit New Yorkers For Children. The evening marked the debut of the brand’s first resort collection, which is Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti’s second collection for the venerable house. A Seventies influence prevailed with jseparates fir for the modern jet-setter. Hosts Chiara Ferragamo, Maggie Betts, Alina Cho, Natalia Echavarria, Nicole Esposito, Julie Macklowe, and Karla Martinez mixed and mingled in Ferragamo, while DJ Kiss spun for the crowd. NYFW supporter Selita Ebanks stopped by in a sleek ensemble from the brand’s Fall 2010 collection. But the night’s biggest draw was easily the November issue of W, which features a nude Kim Kardashian on the cover. Guests made sure to grab a copy before heading out into the storm.
