Proposing is definitely a big deal and I understand that many guys out there are not so creative, so I have decided to write a post and dedicate it to all of those guys who need a unique way to propose to the love of their life! So, what tips do I have up my sleeve? Bring out the engagement ring and let’s get going!

10. Put the ring around your dog

I always liked this one. If you and/or your girl have a pet dog, put the engagement ring on the dog's collar. Keep a close watch on the dog when he/she has that ring around the collar. You wouldn't want it to get lost. Capture the look on your girlfriend’s (hopefully soon to be fiancé’s) face as she finds the ring! This of course could be done with another animal as well. Maybe he/she could also be the ring bearer at your wedding!

9. Rent a billboard sign

Rent a billboard sign just for that special occasion and drive past it when the both of you are together. There are companies that offer billboards throughout America. Also, check the Yellow Pages for billboard advertising companies. Yes, it’s a little over the top but anything to show her you love her right?

8. Put your proposal up there with the ads before a movie

This is called sweet advertising baby! Take your girl to go see the show early so that she will not miss it. And just to make sure she doesn’t have the slightest idea, pick either a zombie movie or an action packed one. You can do this by contacting the local theater for advertising information. Imagine the look on her face when she reads this!

1. Vintage Bike Fashion

These photos make me wish I know how to ride a bike. Aren’t the clothes just gorgeous?

2. Vintage-Inspired Dresses + Toy-Like Models

Results to something fun to look at. While I love the prints and ruffles, I gotta say that the palette is the winner of this lookbook.

3. Needlepoint Purse

If I see something like this at this local vintage shop I love, I’d definitely snatch it right away. So dainty and fun!

4. Zooey Deschanel Means Vintage

While many boys I know are so infatuated with her face, I HEART her because she has great style. If you want to copy the way she dresses, check out this post.

5. Vintage Love in the Details

Super Kawaii Mama shows us some vintage goodies she has found this month. Love the shoes and purse!

The military theme is set to stay huge this year, and what better way to wear it then in a super cute jacket? I saw them all over the catwalk at fashion shows, and they will stay huge throughout 2010… lucky for me, as I love the trend! I've been searching through the shops to find some styles I like, and here are my top 6 cute military jackets so that you can rock the trend…

1. Vila Military Jacket

Price: $76 at asos.com
This super cute jacket is right on trend, mixing the cropped look with military stylings, and gorgeous silver buttons. The black colour means it goes well with anything, but it looks amazing with denim, and even khaki shorts look hot! The back has some super cute detailing, too.

2. Vila Sasa Denim Military Jacket

Price: $42 at asos.com
This jacket combines so many trends! Denim is so hot right now, and the cropped look is definitely in. Wearing it in a jacket means you don't have to bare any flesh, always a winner if you are self conscious about your stomach, and I love the military detailing on this…they are so delicate, yet so masculine! It's super flattering too, being cropped in just the right place and panelled to give a brilliant silhouette. A military wardrobe essential.

3. Vero Moda Military Jacket

Price: $76 at asos.com
Want to rock military over a mini dress? This long line jacket is the perfect way to do it, as it's cut in a flattering shape that would look great over a body con dress! It's also perfect for wearing over a cute Summer print dress, as it's just masculine enough to contrast a pretty print. I can't resist the great buttons and pockets, too!

Mind and body are firmly linked and stress can make you ill, reduce the effectiveness of your immune system, and make it harder to cope with daily life. So here are some of my tips for busting that stress!

1. Change it up

Boredom can lead to stress, so get out of your normal environment and routine. Relieve stress by doing something you wouldn't normally do. Never go to museums? Find one that interests you and spend a day wandering round. Go to a talk, have lunch, follow a guided tour.

2. Get a pet

Pets are a well-known stress-buster. Does your lease forbid animals? Volunteer at a shelter, walk the dogs, play with the cats. Looking at different animals and their different personalities is sure to make you forget your problems for a little while.

3. Find time for YOU

It's so important to find time for yourself! Have a hobby that's just for YOU, and doesn't benefit anyone else. No matter how busy your life is, spend 10 or 15 minutes doing something every day for yourself.

With the pound struggling against the currencies in many countries that we traditionally take a vacation to and the UK in recession, there has never been a better time to head to the UK for a holiday! And while the temperatures may not be baking, there are gorgeous landmarks, a brilliant culture and great food. Even if I do say so myself! Here are my top ten places to visit in the U.K. …

1. Barnes, London

Right at the top of the Thames, Barnes is a gorgeous suburb filled with country lanes, olde-worlde pubs and river side walks, and despite feeling relaxing and harmonious, it's only fifteen minutes from Waterloo. There's also a 120 acre nature reserve called Barnes Common, which is beautiful to picnic in. Shopping and relaxing… what more could you want?!

2. Bowness On Windermere, Lake District

Whether you want to row your way down a beautiful lake, stroll around country shops or eat in quaint cafes and ice cream parlours, the Lake District is the place to be. The scenery is breathtaking at any time of the year, and the atmosphere is so relaxed… the locals are amazingly friendly, too, and the food is excellent. I love taking a picnic up the river, it's so relaxing, and the cute ducklings always come to say hi! There’s no way you wont fall in love with this amazing place!

3. Colonsay, Hebrides

Just off the west coast of Scotland, Hebrides is an amazing place. It's remote, wild and tranquil, and so, so natural. Make sure you go to Kiloran Bay Beach, which might well be Britain's best… it has golden sand which seem to last for miles, and amazing sights.

A wedding can be very traditional with the glamorous white ball gown and the black tie tuxedos. However, they can also be given a new twist with these 5 fun themes. Which one would you choose for your wedding?

5. The Bride and Groom of Rock n Roll…

Whether you're paying tribute to "Grease" or still believe Elvis Presley is alive and well, a Rock n Roll theme wedding is cool without a doubt. Dress up your guests tables with items that remind them of the 50's and 60's like a "Pink Ladies" table for all the cute teen girls or a "T-Bird" table for all the bad boys. Have your bridal party dress up in poodle skirts and wingtip shoes to keep the theme rocking and a rolling. And give a request to your band or DJ to only play hits from the era like Elvis' "Jailhouse Rock" or Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire".

4. Fun in the Sun for Everyone…

If you like to surf, swim, and tan than a fun and bright beach theme is just the added touch you need for your wedding. Dress your bridesmaids up in fun bright colors like hot pink and sunny yellow while the groomsmen coordinate their ties with the same colors. Invite your guests to wear light colors and white pants with flip-flops to join in on the summer fun. Find bands that use steel drums for a cool Bahaman vibe and don't forget the mini cocktail umbrellas for those Margaritas! For your centerpieces add a touch of memory from your childhood with watermelons used as containers for your beautiful sunflowers or orchids with little seashells or starfish decorating the table.

3. From Far Away Travels…

Have you and your fiancé been to China or maybe Italy? Bring your guests into travels that may be unknown to them. Decorate your tables with trinkets from China like a little Buddha or small bamboo plants for centerpieces. The Double Happiness symbol is very popular for Chinese cake designs or cake toppers. There are many sources on the internet like China Bridal that sell favors, dresses, and accessories to help you express your theme the way you pictured it. And if Italy has stolen your heart, hold your reception at a winery and use wine corks for your placecard holders. Don't forget to send your guest home with delicious biscotti favors or a miniature bottle of extra virgin olive oil.

2. Let’s Celebrate the Holidays…

If your wedding date falls around a holiday, whether it be St. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Independence Day, or Halloween, don't be afraid of it…embrace it! For Valentine's Day decorate your wedding cake with fun hearts and give your guests favors of candy hearts that say "I Do". St. Patrick's Day can be done in a tasteful manner with cute shamrocks on your invitations and bridesmaids in lime or hunter green dresses. Don't forget fireworks, apple pie, and a bridal party dressed in red, white, and blue on Independence Day. Halloween can be extreme with guests in costumes or laidback with colors of orange and small accents of brown with a touch of a few fun skulls or pumpkins on cupcakes and bridesmaids hair barrettes. Will there be a holiday incorporated into your wedding day?

1. Movie Tickets Please…

Do you and your fiancé have a favorite movie that you've watched over a million times through the years? Or maybe you would like to remember your very first date when you saw "Walk the Line" and dress up like Johnny Cash in cowboy boots and June Carter in a beautiful vintage wedding gown. If you don't have a movie you want to role play you can dress up in Hollywood glamour and pull out the red carpet as you step out of your rented Rolls Royce. Send out your save the dates on a movie stub and send your guest home with favors of clapboard picture frames.

Do you despise running as much as I do? But do you still envy those people who religiously jog in the parks? Well, I think I’ve got great news for you!
There truly IS a great way not to do what you hate (running) and get the results you love (hot bod and I-am-so-fit vibe)! The secret is… walking!!!

It is said that every person has two doctors with him… his right leg & his left leg. A vigorous 5 mile walk can do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy man than any medicine or psychology. it is the easiest exercise for most individuals, one that can done without equipment except good shoes, in most terrains & weather & also in very old age.
Oh, and one more reason to love walking – if you are also 5.6 and you wear high heels every single day, you will absolutely love those 30 minutes of walking! Because that’s the time when you can finally put sneakers on and walk the streets of your city without killing your toes!
I hope you will enjoy this amazing Walking Workout I’ve found online and have been following for months now – it was composed by a notorious fitness expert Ray Browning, and it’s by far one of the greatest workout routines out there!

When it comes to romance, I think all of us could use just a little bit of help every now and then. We all get advice on what to wear and where to go, why not get advice on what to do? Without further ado, here are 8 romantic date ideas to consider the next time you and your honey are out on a date.

1. Candlelight Dinner For Two

We have all seen romantic movies with the candlelight dinners and we’ve all heard the stories but a candlelight dinner for two really doesn’t need to be that cliche. Why not have it at home? Cook together with a bottle of wine? That’s a whole lot more romantic than a cliche movie moment.

2. Stargazing on the Roof

There is something very oddly relaxing about laying on the roof and looking up at the sky. It makes you feel like a part of something bigger. Why not share that with your honey? Bring out some cocoa and get to talking. You’ll be out there all night with the stars shining brightly above you.

3. Go Dancing

Pull your special someone close and sway to some great music. This date is romantic because although it doesn’t allow A LOT of talking, it does allow some and you’ll get to hold each other close all night. What could be more romantic than that?
