Last chance to participate in the Chance half-off group sale - Inhabitat

Last day to participate in the Chance bag group sale!
If you've been following Inhabitat for awhile, you know that we put a lot of time and effort into trying to support independent designers who approach the act of making with a thoughtfulness towards user, environment and lifecycle.  Right now we're trying a little experiment with designer Miranda Chance to host a group flash sale on her stunning heirloom handbags that are made from recycled blue jeans and old leather jackets.  We've been big fans of Miranda ever since she won the grand prize in our 2010 Recycled Denim Challenge:

This is a picture of Miranda Chance with one of her beautifully-crafted Safari bags.

Miranda is a great example of the type of designer we like to support - she is not part of the big-box, corporate, sweatshop manufacturing world that is trashing our planet and the people who live on it - instead she makes beautiful, high-quality heirloom pieces, by hand, from materials that would otherwise go to landfill. For more about Miranda and her bags, check out our article on her here >

Our flash sale with Miranda is ending tonight, so this is the last chance to get any of her stunning bags at 50% off.  Her handmade bags are normally priced between $250-$500, but right now you can get the winning woven saddle bag (shown above) for under $100.  The designer has only made a few of each bag, so if you want to score one at a steal before the sale ends, now is your chance!
