[All The Limited pieces, except for the cardigan (Jodi Arnold for the Limited)]
Last night, The Limited showed their Fall/Winter 2010 collection, featuring pieces by veteran designer Jodi Arnold, sure to get you in the mood for slinky jersey, lace, perfectly tailored skirts, a drop of hardware here and there, and feminine statement tops. The rest of the collection from the Limited featured well put-together looks for work (a few of my favorite, above), proving that the pencil skirt is certainly still in, and don’t hesitate to pair it with their signature open gauge knit Forenza sweaters. Spotted was also some great cuts for leather coats, worn denim, and fabulous jewelry.

The past few weeks my inbox has been flooded by what the fab foursome from SATC eat and drink to what they wear and type on. What are the noted brands, and how you can get the look is the topic du jour, and while checking my yahoo account, I noticed this article: Key Character Missing from ‘Sex and The City 2′: Carrie’s Mac. HP has partnered with SATC 2, hence you will only see Hewlett-Packard computers in the sequel. Since I’ve worked with the HP team in the past, I’ve got the scoop on the computers as well as the new ‘Computer is Personal Again" campaign, featuring Sarah Jessica Parker.
HP recently unveiled a global marketing collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures that spotlights "tech couture," and celebrates HP's spring collection of products via New Line Cinema's "Sex and the City 2" film. HP's fashionable PCs, including the Vivienne Tam digital clutch, will be making an appearance in the movie, as you know, but also check out the ad campaign, and gather up your girlfriends and buy your tickets now for SATC2 (premiering nation-wide May 27th).
Stay tuned for more SATC 2 posts and my coverage from the HP pre-screening next week!

From our friends at thefind.com:
May is the perfect time to lighten up: accessories, shoes, and clothes all take on a breezy lightness that's in tune with the sunshine and warmer weather. For a saucy finishing touch, borrow from menswear with a jaunty fedora in a neutral shade. In fabric or straw, plain or embellished, the shape adds a playful bit of retro to your look.
Women's fedoras are dashing and dainty in one, offering a short brim and a high crown for optimum angles. This one simple element adds polish to any outfit, but can also be dressed-down for more casual looks. Go head-to-toe menswear by wearing with a vest, striped shirt and jeans, or mix with a delicate summer dress for a dose of fun Cuban-inspired cool on a hot hot day.

The Wendolyn Fedora by Goorin Bros features silvery feather filigree embroidery that sprouts from a retro polka-dot band in pale blue. Be sure to bend the crown up in the back to see the silky blue fabric too!

Eugenia Kim's woven straw fedora for Target features a stem of flowers appliquéd to the front, for a touch of texture.

Meanwhile, the Beach Detective fedora from Anthropologie offers a crisp natural straw weave and a simple grosgrain ribbon. But be sure to notice the trompe l'oeil scarab printed on the band to bring you good luck!
When donning your topper, always remember The Chairman, Frank Sinatra: "Cock your hat; angles are attitudes."
