Vera Wang's Spring 2012 RTW show was an exploration of tailoring and transparency. The mixing of textures and details was apparent on both casual oversized hooded tops and floor-length gowns. To counterpoint the modern pure whites, Vera added patterned and colorful prints which were inspired by 18th century French wallpaper distorted to abstract effect. But mom-to-be Beyoncé stole the show making her entrance, with little sis Solange, just before it began in a nude leather peplum vest and shredded organza and tulle bubble skirt paired with tri colored rubberized leather platform sandals straight from the Spring 2012 Vera Wang runway.
