The campaign was realised by Jung von Matt/Alster, who once again booked photographer Mathias BOTHOR. For the latest issue of GALA, Karel KÜHNE photographed a jewellery and swimwear special in Berlin. Sebastian VAN DEN AKKER and his family travelled to the end of the world for NIDO magazine – to Patagonia, South America. Oscar photographed the dream gull winged door 300 SL ride for MERCEDES BENZ CLASSIC.   Show complete article Mainworks : billboards for SAN DIEGO ZOO's new Polar Bear Plunge SAN DIEGO ZOO, probably the biggest zoo in the USA, now has a new attraction: the Polar Bear Pool. Billboards and ads were distributed along the entire West Coast to promote this. Rainer Stratmann photographed the arctic-style visitor expedition in front of the typically tropical environment of San Digeo. Mainworks Frankfurt took care of the mix of climate zones comprising palm trees and snow.   Show complete article Thomas von Salomon : BMW Art Car by Jeff Koons in the Le Mans Race - a visualisation of light explosions and dynamics Thomas photographed the new BMW Art Car by Jeff Koons, which will be driven on the 12 and 13 June in Le Mans during the 24-hour champions race. Owing to the tight schedule, there was only a short amount of time left for the shoot; still the results were an all round success, which we are pleased to present here on GoSee. GoSee Member ALBERT BAUER STUDIOS took care of the post production of the motifs. The entire project was also met by much acclaim from the Royal Family and Peter had the honour of personally presenting the finished motifs to Prince Frederik. He photographed ads and a catalogue for the Chinese VW JETTA, which has been around for over thirty years. The model has been treated to a facelift and is pretty much based on the Jetta 1. In the last few years, they were regulars when it came to igniting the fashion world with crucial impulses. They worked with designers such as Martin Margiela, Markus Wente and Samuel de Goede. Money, power and oppression cavort on the world's allegedly biggest construction site. The entire negative periphery will be transformed into a shimmering glint by 2030. Philippe Chancel travelled into a region that is bordering on the surreal and captured a piece of reality in ‘Desert Spirit’. Mendes' Grenzarchiv West-Berlin 1978/1979 To the majority of West-Berlin's citizens, the wall was not a big issue in 1978. The grim reality of the urban border, a stupefying situation to this day, had become part of everyday life. With his 160 km long border patrol, Hans W. Mende portrayed the wall, frontier zones and first and foremost the development of urban areas in proximity to the border. Tobias Zielony’s pictures actually express how youth culture thrives on the outskirts everyday. Rather than documenting, he gives the teenagers enough space for them to model their own images.
