Aaah, Jake Gyllenhaal. The guy I wish all guys wish to be. Hot, nice, cool, talented, and did I mention hot? There are many things to love about Jake but I thought I’d list down my top 12 reasons. If you can think up of more, hit me in the comments section. I bet you love him as much as I do.

1. He comes from a talented family.

1
His dad is a director and his mom is a screenwriter. Of course, you can’t forget the ever-so-delightful sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal. The sheer cuteness of Ramona, Maggie’s daughter, is talent in itself.

2. He is a Swedish royalty.

2
Well, sort of. He is a descendant of the noble Gyllenhaal family of Sweden. Despite this prominent lineage, Jake has been quoted saying that he feels Jewish more than anything else. His mom is Jewish.

3. He has great work ethics.

3
At a young age, the value of hard-earned money was instilled in beautiful, beautiful Jake. He spent his summers working and even had his Bar Mitzvah at a homeless shelter.

4. He cares.

4
Jake has helped in the Rock the Vote campaign, making the youth more aware of how their vote can shape the nation. He is also active in charities and other groups aimed for social change.

There is actually a film called 'Bad Actors' and all of these listed below should be made to watch it for crimes against cinema, until they recognise their guilt. What qualifies any of them to call themselves actors is beyond me.

1. Liz Hurley

Oh what a shallow world we live in, when wearing the ugliest dress in the history of couture can make a talent-free 'actress' rich and famous. I feel I know Liz Hurley's boobs better than she does, since she ges them out at every photo-opportunity.

2. Paris Hilton

In the remake of House of Wax, Paris Hilton achieved the remarkable feat of appearing more like a waxwork before being turned into one. Try 'acting' again, Paris, and we'll kidnap your chihuahua.

3. Madonna

Oh dear, Madonna. The list of shame that is your 'acting' career is too long for me to include here. Your confidence and persistence would be admirable were it not for the fact that you made the cinema-going public pay the price, in more ways than one.

Celebrities are EVERYWHERE these days, so its no wonder we see them as much as we see our parents and our best friend! Sometimes the pictures are more than just an envious glance into a glitzy (and bitchy!) world, though, and I've been spotting plenty of celebrity pictures which are worth sharing this week… Here are my ten celebrity pictures you have to see!

1. Jessica Simpson

It's no secret that Jess struggled with her self esteem after her break ups, so it's great to see her looking fantastic again! Her mini really makes the most of her great curves, and she looks happy and mostly confident… I've really missed seeing her around, so welcome back, Jess!

2. Gwen Stefani

With stories of affairs and unhappiness plaguing celeb-land, it's refreshing to see Gwen and husband Gavin looking so happy out together at the Conde Nast Traveler Hot List Party in Las Vegas. And I love Gwen’s outfit, looking formal and acceptable while keeping her own trademark style.

3. Coleen Rooney

The football world isn't renowned for its ability to create Happy Ever Afters, so I love seeing pictures of Coleen looking happy! She's glowing, and looks fantastic in a ruffle-covered vintage inspired dress. The peach colour really makes her look radiant and you'd never guess she's just had a baby!

The refrigerator isn't just where you keep your food anymore — it's where the family calendar resides, and where you show off your kid's amazing artwork and stellar report cards. So stop using those boring old fridge magnets, and start using something with style! Not sure where to look for cool fridge magnets? I can help… here's a shopping list, one you can hang on the fridge!

1. Triplet Pastel Magnets

Price: $13.50 at etsy.com
These aren't just refrigerator magnets, they're tiny bits of hand-made, one of a kind art! Each delicate tile measures 3.5cm square and is hand-painted with azure, lilac, and pistachio, then antique'd with acrylic gold and coated with varnish. I love these!

2. "That is Sooo Cute" Magnet Set

Price: $11.99 at perpetualkid.com
Do your tastes tend towards kitschy cuteness? Then these magnets are ideal to hang on your fridge! The set contains one each of a cute kitten, sweet baby, tiny teddy, darling bunny, and little lamb. Aren't they just so cute?

3. Magnetic Battery Eater

Price: $5.99 at perpetualkid.com
Do you feel a little guilty pitching those batteries that aren't quite dead, but won't work the remote anymore? Then use this little green monster to suck the last bit of juice from them, and watch as he lights up and makes little humming noises. His favorite snack is mostly-used AA batteries, and he loves holding up artwork on the fridge with his hefty magnet on the back.

So you want to break up with him! No matter how sour the relationship has turned there's no need to hurt his ego in the process. Here are some ways you can call it quits without hurting him!

A divorce, separation or, in general, any loss of an important relationship is a painful experience. Such pain can seriously diminish our peace and happiness.
William, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days

1. Say it in person

How would you feel if he spread news about your break-up on Facebook or just instant messaged you about it? You would hate it not to mention suffer from downright depression. Break-up with him face to face. You owe him that!
No matter what he did, he deserves respect enough for a face-to-face breakup. Don’t cop out with a text message…
Phlamer

2. No guilt slamming please!

You may have started to dislike him but while breaking up don't play the blame game. Avoid bringing up past issues and don't go on a mud-slinging spree. It just makes things worse!
breakup1.jpg

3. No comparisons

If you have found yourself another man in your life the last thing you should do is to compare him with your new guy. Just tell him there is someone else and move on. Don't dwell on it as it will only rub salt in the wound!
Girls always tell you that it isn't you, that if they wanted to be with anyone it would be you, it's just that they aren't ready for a relationship. And then two weeks later they're dating someone new.
Jed, Life According to Jed

4. No abusive language

You need to break-up with some amount of dignity. Never make the mistake of using abusive language. You will end up regretting it later. Be a lady. Let him remember you as someone he respects.

5. No middlemen

You may have met each other through a common friend. But there is no reason why you need your friend to convey the news to your man. Don't use intermediaries or even your parents for that matter!

6. Don't get even

If he has been cheating on you it can be tempting to get even with him. However do not do it – it will just give you a horrible empty feeling when you think about it later. So don't spread rumours or hang your dirty laundry in public.
Follow the golden rule. Do unto others as you’d like them to do unto you. This is someone you care about very much, or you wouldn’t even be attempting a friendship. Treat them like you care.

LMNtal Attraction

7. Don't break up on a holiday!

It can be very hard on him if you break up with him during the holidays. He will just mope around and drive everyone else crazy. Choose a working day so he can keep busy and find other distractions.

8. Don't do it in public

Avoid breaking up with him in a public place. Places like shopping complexes and restaurants are a strict no-no. Instead choose a nice and quiet place to talk. It's an emotional moment and he won't want to seem weak and vulnerable in a public place.
breakup2.jpg
Pick an appropriate place. Remember, ending a relationship is a humbling experience. Don’t do it in a place where the person on the receiving end is going to feel more vulnerable than necessary.
Crid Lee, All About Dating and Romance

9. Your favourite locations

Don't break up at your favourite eating joint. He may not be able to go there again especially if you broke his heart. Choose a neutral setting instead where you both will be comfortable.

10. Be straightforward – without being blunt

You need to lay out the facts but don't go overboard. Being blunt can hurt his feelings. Just tell him the reasons so he knows why you're doing it. Leave your verbal dagger at home!
Make sure you say a lot of positive things about the person before you break the news about why you want to break up. Just be sure you don’t go overboard on the compliments. He will respond with, “if I’m so amazing, why are you leaving me?”

Faking Good Breeding

Breaking up with someone can be traumatic. Hopefully with these tips the event won't leave a scar. Remember – leave with your dignity intact and don't do anything you would regret later!

I hate thinking about my career. Do you remember all the jobs you wanted to do as a child? I wanted to be a vet, a doctor, a firefighter, a princess… everything under the sun, so how do you know if you chose the right one? I've been pondering a career change recently, and went to see some advisors, who gave me these amazing tips on how to tell if your career is working for you.

1. Think about what you want

What was it that made you choose your career? What motivates you? Where would you like to be this time next year, in three years, in five? Think about what it is that you want from your career, and write it down. Then make them into a list of aims and goals, and put it somewhere you will see it often.

2. Talk to your boss

Make an appointment to talk to your boss, and ask them where they see your career going. Ask where you could improve, and if they would consider you for promotion should a position arise. Talk to them about wanting to meet the companies goals, and your own personal goals. If you are confident and mature, your boss will be impressed and honest, and you'll know where you stand. Then compare what you hear with your list of goals from above.

3. Volunteer

Volunteer in the careers you are interested in. Find an opportunity to get inside the day to day action, and talk to those who do it full time. Get a balanced view on the good points and the bad, and see if its something you'd actually like to do or just something different to try. Most of the time you'll find you've played up the job in your mind, and it won't be half as good as you expected.

I do love a good giggle, so I wanted to share some of my favourite funny songs with you. Some are original, some are parodies, but all make me laugh every time I hear them. I hope you find them as funny as I do.

1. Weird Al - 'One More Minute'

Weird Al is best known for his parodies, but we can all identify with this original ode to an ex-partner.
Funniest line: I'd rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station … with my tongue/than spend one more minute with you

2. Tom Lehrer - 'National Brotherhood Week'

Does National Brotherhood Week still exist? It did when this song was written more than 40 years ago, and Lehrer had it right – people love to hate each other, always have, always will.
Funniest line: Be nice to people who/are inferior to you

3. Denis Leary - 'Asshole'

Politically incorrect from head to toe, comedian Leary doesn't care who he offends. Though most of the people lampooned in this song probable wouldn't realize he's talking about THEM.
Funniest line: I drive really slow in the ultra-fast lane/while people behind me are going insane
