Show complete article Mainworks : action packed driving shots and an interior of the BMW X1 in the Swiss Alps ‘The joy of seeing’ was the motto for David Maurer & Mainworks when it came to shooting the X1 in the Swiss Alps. David shot the backgrounds for the latest member of the BMW - SUV- family member in and around Andermatt. Mainworks took charge of the visualisation of the X1 using CGI with the added help of David Maurer’s supervision. Meet Mainworks in person at the coming UPdate on 14 May at Palais im Zoo in Frankfurt. Robert Skazel and his team are very much looking forward to welcoming visitors to their stall. His HARPER’S BAZAAR editorial for issue 03/10 is equally as revealing. Koray shot the LAUREL Spring/Summer 2010 Collection in Aire de Bardenas, Spain. HARVEY NICHOLS, London’s luxury department store with an international presence, commissioned Koray with the Spring/Summer 2010 look shoot in Istanbul. In addition to previously unpublished work, he presents campaigns such as his glassy OWP eyewear motifs and his latest personal work. It isn’t just used for 7 Seas shoots, but is increasingly booked for photo and film productions with (and without) celebrities. Recent highlights included Brian Ferry’s using it as a base whilst singing at Chevingon-founder Guy Azoulay’s wedding in St.-Tropez. Cathrin Jo Ann Wind's painterly DIVA editorial homage to Edward Hopper Photographer Cathrin Jo Ann WIND produced an unusual fashion editorial for DIVA magazine, Austria. American painter Edward Hopper, who in the 1950s captured the solitude of the contemporary individual in sensitive pictures, inspired her shoot. Show complete article Top Agence : Easy Lights for TM fashion magazine, nostalgic plane motifs for RIMOWA, UNIQUE, PAPSTAR & KARSTADT For the April 2010 issue of TM fashion magazine, hair and make-up artist DIANA Galante realised the cover shot with Luisa B. and the ‘Easy Lights’ story with Düsseldorf-based photographer Alex Schier. In 1919, the Junkers F 13 revolutionised plane production as the world's first all-metal transport aircraft, with an integrated passenger cabin. The first flight of the newly built Junkers is now scheduled for 2013. Photographer Cintia Barroso Alexander was commissioned by RIMOWA to accompany the project and produce nostalgic photos. Or is it perhaps a woman lying down? Like white water, flowing from dark nothingness. Simon Chaput takes abstract photographs. His motifs are sometimes near impossible to decipher – which is exactly why they captivate our excitement and curiosity. The dainty actress and singer Vanessa Paradis was invited to Paris at short notice for the Coco Cocoon bag series, which Karl Lagerfeld added several new pieces to this Spring. The shoot took place at a studio, in the presence of highly creative people, including Peter Philips, Global Creative Director of CHANEL Make-up and Virginie Viard, who, for a good twenty years, has been Karl’s right hand and CHANEL Studio Director. The Frankfurt Art Association (Frankfurter Kunstverein) presents an exhibition of works by the artists, spanning various artistic approaches and methods. Private view on 12 May! The Great Grace Kelly - rare photos and brand new perspectives at the Kurpfälzischen Museum Heidelberg Grace Kelly is one of the greatest icons of our times – and one of the most tragic. In 1954, she was presented with an Oscar, was at the zenith of her acting career and a fury of flashbulbs would follow her every move. She shone on film posters and in magazines, and yet sometimes the cool blonde’s gaze would come across as timid and presentimental. The three different photographers on show at the Kurpfälzische Museum provide us with three different views of the grand dame of beauty and fate.
