What They Wore: Coachella 2010

. Here at Who What Wear, we rarely take a day off, but when the annual three-day fest of music, fashion, and trendsetting beckons—Coachella—we knew we had to pack up our denim cutoffs and follow. Not only were we beyond stoked to see awesome performances by Jay-Z, The Dead Weather, and Phoenix (just to name a few!), we also knew that stylish attendees were there to bring it—and we couldn't wait to meet them and see their music fest best. After braving the standstill traffic, and securing our coveted purple wristbands (our most vital accessory of the weekend!), we entered the polo grounds by way of the brand-new ferris wheel and spent three days seriously overwhelmed by stylish stimuli. Quietly slipping by the glowstick toters in neon hot pants and the occasional headdress-tressed and face-painted partygoers, we scouted out the darling dressers who were most tuned in to killer personal style. And not to fall short on our reporting, even amidst the sweet, blaring sounds of some of the most beloved bands, we managed to unearth the WHO they were, WHAT they were en route to, and most importantly, what they chose to WEAR when rocking out. While our fieldwork revealed loads of floral skirts, striped bodysuits, and sunhats to spare, we narrowed down our festival favorites to the nine stunning ladies before you, each with a unique spin on outdoor attire.
