The second story in Norah Gaughan vol.6 is all about evocation. The Metaphor collection is comprised of simple, summer silhouettes that flatter the body without revealing too much. Using Seduce®, Seduce® Colors and Bonsai®, Norah has designed 6 basic pieces that are just outside the realm of ordinary summer knits. I've shown a few of my favorites below; watch our audioslide show to see alternate views and hear about the details that make these sweaters so novel.
Comment is a tank with a deep v-neckline and a pointed handkerchief hemline (it is straight in the back). A stripe of eyelet stitches divides the two pieces and lightens the overall appearance.
Fog features a gracefully sloping built-in cap sleeve and a self-finishing neck edge. This easy summer knit is enhanced with decorative tucks worked along the front torso.
Knit seamlessly, Rill is the perfect garment for showing off the long stripes in the new shades of Seduce Colors. It is a casual and lightweight topper for summer months.
Knit Embrace, a cleverly constructed fanciful shrug with extra long ties that will cover your shoulders and dress up your wardrobe. |
